ROUND 15 & 16 Duluth, MN

Final weekend of ISOC Snocross Nationals has come and gone. Championships have been crowned, bragging rights earned and riders jumping to new classes. INTENSE would be the word we would use for Duluth 2026.

All season long past two seasons we have been following along multiple different classes finale weekend stock 200 & Jr 14-15 were the picks, and yes I know we are late on this write up get over it LOL

Heading into Spirit Mountain our return came at a shock and surprise, entering back into the biggest stage of snowmobile racing one last time coming back from Florida to kick off the start watercraft season. The amount of snow we witnessed had us guessing why we left Florida, haha! If you asked me why did I leave, my answer is because snocross runs deep in the blood. The love runs deep for snowmobiles. Enough babbling lets get to these young phenoms.

Stock 220 class is an exciting class to watch, throttles tapped to the bar and lil kids standing on the far end of running boards to get that traction to the ground on the mountainous track that was built by ISOC groomer crew. Close to 40 entries in this class, biggest class we have seen in quite some time and wow that is alot of new pro riders! All eyes on red plate holder Harrison Skar to clinch this championship with no mistakes and taking advantage of everyone else’s mistakes. The battle was on for Skar, taking the lead each heat race rounding out 2nd Friday’s final. Closing that gap going into Saturday and second place. Deegan Giguere mission was to get off the line clean and send it early too. Deegan followed suit behind Skar in each heat setting his battle plan. Rolling into the final Deegan didn’t end the night in the right direction with a 17th. 3L sled Landan Lynse has turned up the heat on the front runners, coming out of nowhere on this championship, keep this kid on your radar next season. Taking the dub in the final, Harrison Skar in second and Lyla Judnick rounding the podium. No.33 is on the gas we look forward to see Lyla when it’s her time to jump in the pro women class she’s got that eye of the tiger. Easton Brekke looking on the outside in, he will have another shot Saturday to make the podium. Chase Kenyon rocketed off the start putting in the work he landed in the third place getting that much needed TV time. Lyla Judnick moves up in position from third to secon, what a collection of podium medals she has collected this season and will she be collecting that #1 plate next season? Landon Lynse got that alluded win in a big fashion. Champion Harrison Skar got the job done gripping the championship plate putting the #1 plate on his sled on the podium following suit to his brother Lincoln Skar last year. Skar - Lynse - Giguere is your top three in championship finishers.

What a change of pace for Jr 14-15 class we talked to Chad Vanhorsigh in round 16 about Carter running this class and they decided to stop away with a big gap in points, the plan was to race Friday but where was he?? Carter seemed to focus more on Sport class a more competitive class and he jumps up full time next year also graduating from sport-lite clinching that championship. Jackson Goike has been chipping away this championship turning up the heat and flowing well in the #1 position, Porter Jacklitch another Michigander standing tall in the second position. Arctic Cat Mason Broden in third coming into his own finding the speed he needed all season, Duluth being his place to make it happen. New rider Creeat Bosum #11 sled snuck in with a great ride controlling the sled well on the track with a first career win, after this momentum will we have a new competitor next season? Hope so. Porter Jacklitch repeats once again crossing the checkers in second not where #101 rider wanted to be but this is a great place to start the 2027 season. Tyson Kielman coming out of Wisconsin would put that blue ski-doo on the box. Goike - Jacklitch - Vanhorsigh is your top three championship finishers.

Closing another chapter in snowmobile history. As we look forward as summer comes to us we can’t wait to be back on the snow again! We hope you enjoy the summer. See everyone at Ironwood!
