Round 11 & 12 Elk River, MN
Traveling back to the midwest from the two week stint of east coast rounds, we are happy to park the media van at a venue we have lots of history with. Logging hours and hours of media content & many of millions of steps. ERX Motorpark always brings the best of the best. Fans, athletes, sponsors and weather.
This weekend we were welcomed by Monster Energy being a partner of ISOC Snocross we haven’t seen them in the game since Hentges before they closed doors & Kody Kamm in 2024/25 season. Big moves happening in the arena, we did get word Monster Energy has jumped on as a partner for Champ Off-Road as well sister series to Amsoil Championship Snocross.
Friday forecast was calling for rain with a chance of snow, well weather people you were partially right. We saw rain on and off, very happy about that once Pro races got under way we saw a delay. To my knowledge only weather delay Snocross has seen was Soaring Eagle casino back In 2017/18 if I have my dates correct. That was a nasty one watching the live stream there was standing water and mud everywhere. Mother Nature did come through with much nicer weather Saturday blue bird skies with a small chill in the air. We had to wear out Fly Racing jacket all day. Man those jackets are warm and cozy. Check out Fly Racing’s gear lineup if you are in need, hands down best gear you will ever have.
ERX Motorpark fans came out swinging, we saw stands starting to fill up early mornings to afternoon. Cheering on the youth classes, every single fan had there favorite rider in each class, hearing these youth athletes have fans tells us this sports is growing, growing in the right direction too. Two classes to keep on eye on, Sport-Lite & Jr Girls 9-13. Any one of these young ladies can rocket off the start and lead wire to wire. Charlie Buteau is leading the pack in the points, with a large target on her back rest of the field is stepping up the game showing they are here to battle her to the finish. Competitors such as Lila Hemmer, Eva Gifford, Vivian Yager, Peyton Weisbrod are showing skis’s, ripping hole shots and putting a stop to Buteau’s record wins. One important key factor we see from Charlie, track side she is always watching the pro athletes to see where she can be better. Hemmer Motorsports Lila Hemmer put the hammer down during Friday’s final securing a win for herself, this win didn’t come easy hard work does pay off eventually and being the first win of the season for her right in her back yard and hometown crowd, right behind would be points leader Charlie Buteau. No stranger to he podium and first time winner in NY, Eva Gifford put her head down holding that throttle wide open to stand on the box in third, not where she wants to be but staying consistent in this championship fight.
Rolling into Saturday these up and coming Pro women athletes are hungry for more. Reset the field wait for that starting line to go green. Vivian Yager pulled a massive holeshot leading for a few laps to only relinquish the leas to wide open Charlie Buteau, looking for revenge after Friday’s performance. Vivian was a huge surprise for us, we do know Beson Team has the clutching dialed on those Arctic Cat sled’s. Yager would stay put in second holding off Michigan native Eva Gifford grabbing the first second place of her career and first podium of 2026. Eva Gifford was all smiles coming off a hard charge performance closing the gap on Vivian but having enough to close the deal, third is where she would stay another bronze not where she wants to be, with two more weekends there is four more chances to grab another gold before the season ends. Peyton Weisbrod was absent from the podium all weekend long with 11th & 5th, going into the weekend her we spoke with her and the goal was podium finishes. Those podiums will be at Eagle River & Duluth!
Thene Motorsports keeps growing the team, with a new race shop, trailer what more is there? You know what there is to do hire athletes with skills, talent to the team roster. Carter Van Horsigh signed with Thene going into ERX weekend, this move is the next chapter for Carters career, only limited time in the ISOC series he is becoming one of the heavy hitters as he will be making a big splash moving to sport next season. Wire to wire finished Friday & Saturday No.740 isn’t it make it easy for the rest of the field 78 point gap on second, could we see Carter wrap this one up early at Eagle River? Tune in on out socials channels to find out. East coast phenom Sal LaBeau where has this kid come from. Crashing out a lot last year now finding the podium now 4 times? Snagging his first podium at Ironwood the momentum train has been chugging along, Friday was one heck of a ride taking silver, one position away gold he can definitely taste it. To rebound get on the box again Saturday in 3rd. Will Eagle river be the place he gets that alluded first win? Riley Johnson would fight to third putting that skid-doo on the box Friday night.
After interviewing Lincoln Meyer after his heat race, he told us he’s ready to get on the box, what a performance and conviction he had to make it happen. No.863 held gold up high, well deserved from the performance he had. Living only 10 minutes up the road Zach Miller has logged a lot of laps at ERX knowing it like the back of his hand, someone had to know he would not miss the opportunity walk on that podium at his home track, must be all that beef HAHA #eatmorebeef. Sal LaBeau would not be denied a podium with bronze. Where was points leader Carter Van Horsigh? Crossing the line in 8th not a normal sight for this young man. We are sure the rebound will be huge in Wisconsin.
We would like everyone that tunes into these write ups make a quick donation to a rider in need. Kashton Nelson link is below everything and anything helps!
See everyone at the Derby!
Round 9 & 10 Salamanca, NY
Second part of the east coast swing was at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino. This venue brings out all the snowmobile racing fans, digesting close course racing, Sunoco race fuel & loud race cans in the air. Mother Nature wasn’t that nice going into the weekend of racing and Saturday afternoon with heavy rain, luckily someone did the rain dance, that rain turned into sleet then into snow. WE LOVE SNOW!!
Back to the normal weekend schedule after a fun weekend covering just the pro’s. Out of the classes we knew it was time to give limelight to the future of the sport 120 Champ class and those sleds cost almost as much as the pro semi’s do LOL(joke) they do cost a pretty penny. P.s. we miss the exotic pro open mod sleds. Next class we want to cover Pro-Am Plus 30 class, every year we are surprised by the stacked number of entries and competitive nature of these old geezers acting as If they are 16 again haha!!
Thursday night looking over the entry list we thought they there was a miss print, double checking with other sources it was not a miss print. Previous pro-lite competitor and podium guy for many high level teams. Kevin Wallenstein made it way hard for the top guys to grab a win this weekend, veteran Corin Todd had his work cut out for himself again blistering fast #122. Todd taking second holding on tight to that red plate gaining more points as we get to the ladder part of the championship, following suit Tyler Oomen would put down another incredible ride on that Arctic Cat sled and looking good in the new Fly Racing jersey. Saturday spelled a different story kinda, Illinois native Brian Petersen was putting in some hot laps during practice, gathering it all together to get on the box once again putting that good looking Fly Racing gear in the box. Moving up a position Oomen nailed down a second place gaining much needed points, yet a weird sight not seeing points leader on the box finishing in 6th. What an odd finish for him, heard something happened to him getting into another rider we believe. Wrapping up the podium would be once again Kevin Wallenstein, he mentioned on the podium his friend back in Michigan got him back into racing we are glad to see him back on the tour. We asked his wife if they have plans to do the rest of the season, “only one or two more its really expensive and far”. If Kevin was in points the answer would most likely be a yes, is this a sign for what we could see next season? Heck yes!! Some notable mentions, CSRA rider Tyler Billings made the trek to compete in NY, we would love to see more CSRA guys compete in ISOC full time. Let’s go boys!! Leo Patenaude brother of #8 made an appearance in Valcourt now again in Salamanca. Devin Denman put in a great ride Saturday landing one position off the podium, this guy knows how to send it, hold er wide champ!
120 champ your up to bat. Kody Krantz #22 returned again to the professional stage riding the bars off that mod taking round 1 heat #1 win. Coming back for round to unfortunately his sled went kaboom not lining up for the final, what a bummer to see as he is very competitive. Lyla Judnick takes round 1 heat 2 setting up for a solid round 2. Deegan Giguere is the man to watch in this class, we don’t know if he knows to let off the gas that kid can ride, grabbing round 2 heat 1 win. Just talking about her #33 goes to take the checkers in round 2 heat 2. Stage is set for the final, we had a close eye on Lincoln Skar, Vinnie Diorio Aka Iron Man.
Starting line light turns green and those built 120 chassis rocket off the line heading towards the studboy holeshot line. 213 sled lead wire to wire lighting the candles as the rest of the field tried to close the gap but Deegan found smoother and faster lines. Lincoln Skar did all he could to close the gap not having enough time only to settle for second. Bronze was captured by none other than “Iron Man” Vinnie Diorio smiling so big on that podium. Twenty points between Diorio & Skar, 18 points between Giguere & Skar. This championship may come down to Spirit Mountain in Duluth, MN.
Back to the midwest we go 6th stop on the tour. ERX Motorpark you are next. BIG SENDS, RHYTHMS & BIG FAN ENERGY!
ROUND 7 & 8 Valcourt Quebec, CANADA
If you asked us what our favorite venue on the tour is, we would say Grand Prix Ski-Doo Valcourt is it. We have been coming to Valcourt for 10 years now. You must be asking why right? Our answer is a Santa clause Christmas list long haha! Poutine, atmosphere, Canadian friends, ice oval races, champ 440 mod sleds, sunsets, etc etc. You have to experience this place for yourself.
Let’s get into the weekend. Ice ovals set the stage going into the weekend on Friday with qualifying, SCMX & ISOC Pro classes practice. A name we haven’t heard in a while Leo Patenaude made it on the scene to compete in SCMX Plus 30 holding the big brunt sign on the podium next to Max Taillefer taking the top spot. Jr girls class is dominated by blistering fast Charlie Buteau on the 201 sled, leading points in both series SCMX & ISOC, all eyes are on this young lady. In two years we will witness her pro debut in the national tour.
Shifting gears to ovals were our ears perk up to the sounds of 440 champ sleds! Three athletes we knew would dominate the weekend. Blaine Stephenson, Gunnar Sterne & Reed Klinger talking with each of them we knew this weekend would be a nail biter. Ice was cherry, weather perfect and sleds tuned to run perfect. Only thing standing in the way when do the sleds get told to line up in staging.
Qualifying had its moments broken belts crashes into the hay bales you name it, it happened. Big show Sunday we witnessed three big name hitters have problems not finishing the race and a name we didn’t even blink an eye to all weekend this rider from Quebec after a long hiatus Quebec rider won Valcourt. Danick Lambert set the world on fire bringing home the champion flag to Quebec, you bet ya he partied hard afterwards. Congrats Danick!
Back to ISOC racing we witnessed a feet that we may not see again. Freshman rider Avery Hemmer is not letting go of the red plate and points lead. Setting records, chasing titles and cementing her name. No.15 is on a mission and printing her name on the “Megan Brodeur” Valcourt trophy!. Inanna Hauger saw a lot of adversity with sled rebuilds, starting in the back row on Sunday. No. 331 is one tough rider, if you could take one thing from Hauger she thrives in adversity. European rider Saga Forsell first year racing ISOC full time and first time In Canada Saga rocketed off the start not relinquishing second to no-one. Fantastic ride for team Southside.
Cottew Motorsports are they skipping a beat or what? Cam Cole showed the rest of the competition this title won’t be let go easy, not seeing the podium at Canterbury 2.0. Cole made sure that wouldn't happen again, great starts off the line and holding the gas wide open to the finish 2-1 finished would ignite an even bigger fire for himself and the team. All these athletes race for the love of the sport, Drew Freeland always has a smile on his face when we see him in the pits and he took those good vibes all the way to the podium standing on top spot. Freshman rider Kenny Goike looked impeccable all weekend losing his brakes early Saturday night while still making the podium, another freshman in Pro-Lite Tanner Johnson put in work for his first podium.
Premiere class to cap the weekend. One question we are wondering where is reigning champ Emil Harr, he has a few podiums but the consistency isn’t there is the injury still bugging him? There is a new sheriff in town Jordan Lebel is in full control with a 29 point gap over second. 3rd year in the class Jordan has been putting in the time to get to this point, holding the red plates early last year to passing it back to Harr later in the year to now holding a good point gap over the field. Hard work, determination, grit this got him to this point. Warnert Racing has not won a championship in sometime either this would be a relief for the team. Fellow Canadian following suit Crayden Dillon rookie in the class made it loud an clear these boys are fast and he needs to find more speed, second both days is still a phenomenal ride, crowd at the podium was cheering loud. Two different boot patterns would be left on sunday. Daniel Benham would put Arctic Cat on the box still keeping championship hopes alive Saturday night. Elite Motorsports Theo Poirier man did he look good Sunday throwing fat whips jumping corners like Hibbert vibes were unreal. Bronze was his and he was not denied. Congrats on the ride keep the momentum rolling!
Half way of the season NY is up next, where fans go crazy for Snocross!
ROUND 5 & 6 Shakopee, MN
Deadwood is a favorite on the tour due to mother nature not being on our side we got gifted with a wild, windy, wide open weekend back at Canterbury Park. This time Snocross stepped up the bar made a track everyone have been about since the All Finish Racing days. Daytona of Snocross is back baby!! we did get intel someone forgot to turn the snow guns off(by accident or on purpose) whatever the reason who cares give us more of this action. Very very minimal smash fest, triple triple section that turned into a a few different lines(Triple double, double double double or double triple, or triple triple), corners would insane lines developed nicely a lot of riders found the outside faster, come night show inside could have been faster. One rider in the junior classes we watch very closely found a hidden line through the rhythm section heading towards the finish. Red plate holder Ryan Shimanski was hugging the inside line doubling through making quick distance between himself and the rest of the field, great job Ryan!
Now back to the premiere class, Friday’s stage was set for any one of these riders to win, back in the off season we talked to one rider specifically he stated “this isn’t a learning year, I'm going out to battle with the big boys” No.96 did just that grabbing the “fastest qualifier” (PSA there wasn’t a qualifying session just second practice). I get it though throw that in there for the fans. Those Thene sleds are rocket ships, if history has shown us anything they know how to win or maybe it’s that sparkly new semi owner Cory Thene had built LOL. We did step in that rig man she is beautiful. Okay enough drooling over here back to racing, Crayden was inching his way up that ladder each weekend doing the much needed homework. Taking his first pro win in his rookie year, what a spectacle it was. We bumped elbows with Crayden’s dad giving congrats, simple few words from Luke “we are going to do it again tomorrow”. Wasn’t far off either landed on the box Saturday night after making a strong push towards the front battling with Daniel Benham, making a small mistake on the triple triple section getting sucked off the sled having enough time to get back and salvage a third. What a ride that was. The man to beat would be Jordan Lebel on that Makita sled grabbing his second career win of 2026 and now holding the red plates as we go into Canadian territory. Notable rides we have to mention Hunter Patenaude kicking off round 6 strong putting those studboy studs to work right behind Lebel and Benham. We would love to see Hunter get a win here soon. What the heck happened to Benham was that red plate getting heavy???? Still right there in the title fight 10 points, be careful Dan 2x champ is 1 point behind you. Gustav Sahlsten had a quick taste of the red before his sled went bye by Saturday night, This championship Is getting GOOOOD!
Moving next to Pro-lite division. Podium looked very very different this go around not seeing points leader Cameron Cole at all, we did notice Arctic Cat had a great showing, first time winner Eric Downs taking notes from team mate Daniel Benham on those patented holeshots, man those cats are dangerous on the start. Big success for Frattalone Racing really showing their progression and wanted to deliver for Arctic Cat, if you remember they were a full fledge cat team before switching to Polaris. Can say this making the move back to green wow. Tony you got it going on man! Second would be handed out to SRT rider Drew Freeland being on a great ride second podium thus far. Third would be the new energized Green Mountain Racing team rider Linus Pettersson one of the younger riders in the class, talking to team owner Nate Tatro he said this track really suited Linus as all they ride is right handers in Europe. Saturday came another shift but on a smaller scale. Back to those Makita sleds, Jordan Lebel’s lil brother clicked off his first win of the season, did Jordan give some tips back at the trailer sure seems like it, two brothers taking overalls Saturday night big night for Lebel family. Naeli you're up to bat! Eric Downs putting on another stellar performance securing second inching closer to points leader Cole who again didn’t see on the podium. One thing we did see after the checkers Cam looked very frustrated, once you have the taste of winning it's a hard pill to swallow to not win over and over again, the name of the game here is consistency folks. Last but not least Evan Christian rounding out the podium. Three podiums one win under his belt what did we just say about consistency, Evan is playing that very well, looking back at the points 3 behind Downs and 19 behind Cole. This championship is getting good too! Freeland waiting for anyone of these guys to make a mistake and pounce.
What will we see come Valcourt??? Bring the popcorn cause its going to get dicey!!
Round 3 & 4 Shakopee, MN
Thirty years snocross has been part of Canterbury Park’s event schedule. Going back to WSA days. Can’t saying snocross without Canterbury Park, this weekend was going so so with rain Thursday night eventually let up, leaving an icy deep, technical, and hard to navigate for riders track. We saw snow Saturday during the evening to night show making it feel even more like the “Daytona of Snocross”.
This weekend we kept a close eye on Jr 10-13 & Sport-Lite class, man these young guns are on the gas never letting up! Top Runner Ryan Shimanski would have a dominate weekend and winning the “Dominator” award taking home $1,000 bucks. We see Ryan being in a factory trailer soon once he goes into the sport classes. Securing second would go to Canadian athlete Jack Gelinas on the 680 sled chasing down Ryan but not closing the gap enough at the finish, rounding the podium would go to Logan Bruch battling hard to secure second but wouldn’t have enough time. Who will dethrone Ryan and do you see Jack or Logan swapping for moving up positions or will there be a new player that moves these three off the podium? 18 point difference separating Shimanski from second place in points.
Ski-doo has focused on rider first attitude while keeping lots of junior riders on the platform, sport-lite is that one class, looking at the points the top three riders are on Ski-doo’s. Derek Gosselin leading the way on his True North Racing sled in points and holding the torch high Friday with 1-1-1 results extending his points lead, will we see red plates in his sled going into the next stop? Derek would drop down a position to Ryder Hayes, who we didn’t see anywhere near the podium in Round 3 finishing 13th. Way to come back and get on the box Ryder! Thene Motorsports satellite rider Carter Van Horsigh rode strong as weekend long, standing on the podium both days, Friday would be a 2nd and Saturday a 3rd. Charlie Lucas of Lucas Racing had all engines firing with raw speed man this kid was on it, podium during rounds 5 & 6. We think so! On the Elite Motorsport program Thomas Didier fought all the way up to get third Friday, having his work cut out for him on this deep technical track this one didn't come easy.
Snocross announced Sunday morning the tour will see Cantebury Park again on the tour as the fill in for Deadwood. We are just as bummed as you are to not see the Historic Deadwood stop. Man Deadwood is just an iconic stop and the rich history. We hope to see the bullring in 2027! Looking forward we hear major changes will happen to Shakopee 2.0. See everyone there!
Round 1 & 2 Ironwood, MI
Welcome back everyone to another year of Amsoil Championship Snocross. What a whirl wind of a weekend filled with crazy wind, lake affect snow and -20 plus temps. Attrition with survival skills came into play heavy. Let’s dive in into Mt. Zion Ironwood, MI
To kick off the season we are going to highlight two classes per weekend. We caught the action of stock 200 & Pro Am Women classes.
Stock 200 saw a bit of a different podium each day & riders swapping positions. Friday Landan Lynse battled the whole field a stacked field at that putting himself in a great spot for the title fight. Number 300 sled of Harrison Skar a vet in the class made quick moves on the very technical track for these sleds to navigate with steep up hills and huge peaks to take silver overall. Third place we would see Tessa Naastad in the bright Klim gear, talk about someone on the gas Tessa sure doesn’t let off the gas. Righty off the podium but always a name to keep in your back pocket would be Deegan Giguere young gun is fast!
Saturday brought similar challenges to these athletes when came to the weather being a carbon copy of Friday. Z17 sled of Tessa Naastad came out swinging moving up her results from Friday leaving nothing left on the track to take gold holding that big Klim necklace up high! Lil Vinnie Diorio pushed his sled as fast as it would go moving up his results from a 7th to 2nd, this kids podium speeches are the best! Keep killing It kid. Not the result Landan Lynse was looking for leaving the weekend, still on the podium keeping that momentum as the next stop of the tour of the Daytona of Snocross. Would a mix of podium, this goes to show you have to get a great start or you won’t be on the box. Harrison Skar would be right off the podium.
We spoke about the pro women’s class on our podcast multiple times being one of classes to watch again. These athletes went full throttle all weekend long, sending the Air Force triple like nobodies business. The buzz all off season leading up to the first weekend was around new prospect Avery Hemmer & Inanna Hauger, prior teammates last the few seasons. Avery Hemmer came out swinging lined up next to Hauger we witnessed these two dicing up, Hauger held her own till Avery got around her winning the heat race in round 2. Come Fridays final Hemmer pulled the hole shot make quick distance from second crossing the checker flag to grab her first career win as a rookie and silencing all the doubts how she would do. Her rival Hauger would fall back to 14th not finishing where she wanted. London Recreational Racing No. 11 sled of Victoria Dillon dialed it in after great heat races securing second place placing herself in a perfect position for title contention. Fan favorite No.42 Ava McCurdy has one mission this season being more consistent, taking bronze opening round is a perfect spot to start the season. One position off the podium would be Warnert Racing No. 518 sled Neali Lebel peaking in from the outside would she figure how to get more speed for Saturday, we think so.
First place, third place and 4th place saw different riders. 2025/2026 season already starting off great in the pro women’s class. 14th place overall rider “Holeshot” Hauger would redeem herself taking the elusive holeshot she is known and running away with the win putting her first overall adding another to her resume, last time we saw No.331 sled on the overall podium was Eagle River last year. Victoria Dillon would take another second itching to grab her first overall in the 2026 will it be at the Daytona of Snocross? Neali Lebel moved up a position swapping her 4th overall for a 3rd now on the inside of the podium, still needing a bit more speed to take her first overall of her career. No.15 sled didn’t make it back on the podium one position away was her overall win a fluke? Nah the speed is right there a better start is needed. Where was Ava McCurdy? back in 8th what step down from her Friday performance. Freshman rider Eleanor Schmidt secured 12th both days, will she move up some positions at Shakopee. We are sure Eleanor will find more speed at the practice track to help this results.
Happy holidays everyone! See everyone in Shakopee!
Round 15 & 16 Duluth, MN
They say all things must come to an end and those who are patient. 2025 was an outstanding season for snocross. AMSOIL Championship Snocross has risen the bar once again, talent pool is deep in every class, riders want to win more than ever, teams are expanding and winters are finally turning back around. As we reflect on our media season, prepare for 2026 we have one last write up to do on the championship weekend. Transition 8-10, Jr 10-13 & Pro-Am Women. Yes we have done these classes once before, don’t forget every race weekend is a different out come for these teams, riders and families. Lets pull the cord and lets get started.
Transition 8-10 Ski-Doo has a lot of young guns making waves and showing these factory teams they want a ride in the future once they start hitting the sport-lite and upper classes. These three gentleman had a mire reflection of both days. Travis Bellerieve taking first, Jack Gelinas following close in second & Holden Kuhn rounding out the podium. A name we all know in the pits “Pallin”, Eli Pallin nephew to Kyle Pallin “Sr. Smilie” was the talk of the weekend putting in solid ride both Friday & Saturday. Having Kyle by his side as a couch and mentor Eli will be a force to be reckoned with next season. Two other notable riders we want to mention Jake Archambault coming in 4th Satuday & Emeryk Gagnon coming in 4th Sunday in the finals.
Jr 10-13 this class only runs once per weekend never the less this class never disappoints, podium finishers always changing and points battle is always shifting. Tyson Kielman would rocket ship out the Studboy Traction start grabbing the early lead to check out taking the flames and gold. Second would be Colden Harnois on the Arctic Cat(we bleed green). This kid is firing on all cylinders ever since NY, what do they have in that sled a Tucker Hibbert 600 mod HAHA great run Colden look forward to seeing more of the 920 sled on the box! Michigan’s own Jackson Goike snagged bronze capping his season, yet another young phenom making waves in the scene. A few notable riders we thought we would see on the podium, Ryan Shimanski, Avery Hemmer & Ryder Hayes, starts seemed to be the trick for Duluth the narrow start made it very challenging.
5 time champ and queen of Spirit Mountain (yea i’m starting that) Malene Cottew got the job done in typical fashion. Friday night wasn’t her night battling through the pack having a crash with another rider salvaging 5th over right behind rival Inanna Hauger. Kyllo Racing’s Cerissa Blessum would dominate the night put her Arctic Cat(bleed green) on the top step, a very strong Ava McCurdy in second. We see Ava being a title threat next year as things will be shaking up this off season (we can’t reveal details yet). Naeli Lebel getting the night in third. These women turned it on all season making every weekend interesting. Saturday’s night show had a big wrench thrown. Cerissa Blessum was on another level looking to repeat her dominance she showed the night prior. A drastic incident would lead the #7 sidelined after getting taken out. We have heard she sustained 3 broke ribs and a collapsed lung, heal up Cerissa next year is a new chapter and your redemption year! #93 would light the candles one last time in 2025 holding that number plate as reigning champion. Moving up two positions Inanna Hauger would finish second, Ava McCurdy dropping down a position from the night prior. I said it once i’ll say it again these women as on a level unmatched. We will see a new contender next year going after the championship, Avery Hemmer will be making her pro debut and rumors floating around, Malene is retiring we have solid sources she will be hanging up the boots, we will have to wait for the press release. As far as other news Kyle Pallin showed up Friday night putting on a clinic, telling everyone he still has it. Andy Lieders who would put it to the Pro-lite class is retiring from professional snocross securing another championship to his name. Anson Scheele, Crayden Dillon are moving up to Pro! Exciting news of 2026!
Cheers everyone thank you for tuning in. Hope all of you have a greta off season!

Round 13 & 14 Eagle River, WI
Eagle River Championship Derby Complex is home to World Championship Ice Oval racing, many famous riders, sleds, industry people that shaped the snowmobile industry. We are welcomed back to the Derby Complex from a 3 year hiatus, blessed with warm weather Friday this was a blessing in disguise. Snow was melting fast leaving big ponds of wonder in areas, Saturday was a bit of a shift from Friday’s program. Cold weather and rain was in the forecast. This challenged the ISOC crew and racers setting the stage for the weekend.
This weekend we decided to cover Pro-Am 30, 120 Champ & Sport class’s. Covering these classes before we thought it’d be awesome to cover them again. Let’s jump in shall we.
Pro-Am Plus 30 is one of the classes we really enjoy watching during the whole tour, red plate holder Andy Lieders looks to be locking up the title in Duluth. Corin Todd another name never left out of the conversation, along with other favorites like Brian Petersen, Tyler Oomen, Adam S. Johnson & Ryan Frank a bad dude bringing awareness, raising money while finding a cure to spinal cord injury all in dedication to his son Raycer Frank and many others Please donate at “ https://fundraise.givesmart.com/e/AWf79A?vid=1iegt2 “. Corin Todd rocketed off the line towards the of the final looked to be fading at the ladder part of the final, was his back inflamed from his pervious injury? Hopefully not but awesome job pushing through to capture the win Corin. Brian Petersen “Mr Brain Bucket” takes 2nd & Tyler Oomen in third. Andy Leiders saw a result he is not much familiar with in his career. Rebounding back Saturday night Leiders would find the box not being denied this time walking away with gold. Todd in second & Oomen in third. What is Leiders taking haha???
We see everyone commenting on our posts “Bring back mods! bring back mods! bring back mods!”. Well they never left we still have them in the small block class haha! 120 Champ is the big money class nowadays. Last time we covered this class, Deegan Giguere was on his way to win his first final. A mechanical would ultimately sideline him from holding that gold medal and his first win of the season. Prior to Eagle River Giguere would push his 120 champ sled to the limit stepping on the podium twice, a third in New York and first in Elk River. A resurged effort from young Deegan would do all he could to cap the weekend with another win with the London Recreation Racing Ski-doo sled of Henry Dillon would change the ending the story running out front early grabbing the holeshot and checking out, capturing the checkered flags. Making this his 4th win of the season! Rising star of the class Lincoln Skar wouldn’t get the jump he was looking off the start, working his way up through the pack choosing solid lines to stay with the leaders just running out of time leaving Skar in third. Lincoln being as consistent as he can be this season being on the podium 4 times, will Duluth be his break through? We will have to see.
One championship is locked up already. Warnert Racing knows how to choose talent. Dylan Lebel held the red plate right after Ironwood never relinquishing up to this point, every time we see Dylan in the pits, he has the eye of the tiger look. Doing a total sweep of the weekend at the Derby, big question mark is will he jump into Pro-Lite at Duluth or does he play it safe. Either way everyone grab the popcorn and a cold can of your favorite beverage get ready to see some crazy racing in Duluth. Back to sport class podium. Thene Motorsports another Ski-Doo factory team pour a lot into the younger generation of riders Tanner Johnson being one of them. Returning to racing from his broken hand at Shakopee, Tanner put in results that would turn his season around, mounting charges and securing four second place finishes this includes Eagle River. Being team mates with Crayden Dillon & Francis Pelletier this must of helped get him back to speed at the practice tracks. Way to rebound Tanner! Third place would go to Michigander Kenny Goike. Tom Heisler has that sled dialed, wrenching for the old Anderson Race team the book of knowledge Tommy has runs deep. Consistency is the game you have to play to be a top guy in snocross.
Few different things have been talked about for Duluth, tracking going up behind the grand stands, no double hills and blowing more snow? Just hope there is enough white stuff to make a sweet track just like last year!
Round 11 & 12 Elk River, MN
Back to the midwest. Elk River, MN the home of ERX Motorpark where racing is intense and fans come in droves, track design was different this year compared to its predecessor. We do love when the ISOC & ERX crew build the track to go around the pond. Are you a fan or you more of small track type? Let’s go head first into this weeks classes. Stock 200, Transition 8-10 & Pro.
I don’t think i’ve ever seen so many 200 riders, is the sport dieing? I THINK NOT! These kids did put on a show for the fans here at ERX, almost as exciting as the pro’s, we do see a pattern happening within these younger groups more explosive reactions getting on the box or even not making top 10’s, there is a lot to prove here on the big stage.
London Recreactional Racing(LRR) team’s Henry Dillon would get a great holeshot from the Studboy Traction starting line, commanding the lead lighting the candles, Dillon is currently in 3rd for points with a 54 point difference from first. #127 of Dillon got back on the box this time in second place still gaining good points towards the championship but will it be enough come championship weekend in Duluth? Koy Maruska a new face to the podium a local from Clearbrook grabbing silver having a huge smile on the box, we hope to see more of this kid In the future. Bryson Mckelvey takes home bronze another from Minnesota, we’ve seen this kid have great rides in the past and the hard work paid off securing 3rd Friday night. Second leg of the weekend the 200 competitors started their motors again to compete chasing the podium medals once more. Tessa Naastad holding second place points over Dillon takes the victory caping off the weekend with gold along with great momentum for Eagle River Derby Complex. Henry would fight an up hill battle leaving Elk River with silver. Third goes to Vincenzo Diorio #88, we should call him “Ironman” this young man competes in a lot of races in the midwest series and does quit, winning with dominating fashion.
One class to pay attention if your attend each weekend or watch on Floracing is Transition 8-10. Throttle blocks and half throttles don’t stop these young boys and girls from sending it. Battles fired up early Friday’s final, Travis Bellerive fending off harding charging Jack Gelinas for the win. Kolton Kappes put in a great ride as well snagging third. The field would rest Saturday with only one returning contender from Friday also seeing two cousins on the box battling it out for second & third. Holden & Noah Kuhn left everything on the track giving the fans what they came to see. Jack Gelinas would prevail leaving with gold around his neck, inching closer and closer to Travis in points. This may be another battle that comes down to Duluth weekend. We shall see!
Well ladies and gents. Pro class brought the heat, we saw a new partnership for the lone wolf Arctic Cat race team Kyllo Racing. CF Moto jumped on board which is a big move, especially when they have been investing a lot into AMSOIL Championship Snocross. Jacob Yurk would come out of the weekend with a 5th from Friday and 10th Saturday not the results he wanted to showcase, good efforts make Kyllo Racing the most favorable in the pits. Keep up the good work, put it on the box these last two weekend! #200 was back on the track still favoring that wrist did his best with a 9th overall his best finish in the triple crown format. Per usual Emil Harr dominated the weekend on his Judnick Motorsports Polaris sled. Warnert Racing Jordan Lebel hard charged it all weekend Friday was his best effort snagging silver over Benham who got the fastest qualifing, Benham is really getting comfy on his Cottew Motorsports Polaris ending Fridays night show with bronze, himself and his whole team had another celebration yet again following his great success in New York. Fans do love Team LaVallee we could hear them from across the track. Adam Peterson & Ryley Bester took second & third. First Pro podium for Bester, this young phenom put on a great showing putting it to the vets in the class. Congrats boys!!
Back to snowmobile country in Wisconsin. Eagle River Derby Complex welcome back to the tour can’t wait to see the racing you bring the fans!!
round 9 & 10 Salamanca, NY
East coast fans are some of the best fans in the snocross industry, they come out of the wood work(literally). As the semi’s rolled into the parking lot of Seneca Allegany Casino we knew it was time to go green. Trails open for spectators to ride in to the event which we haven’t seen in a while, most likely when the track was on the other side of the casino(Mod era)
This weekend we wanted to give the amateurs some more limelight as they are the future of our sport and put on some great racing all weekend. Jr Girls 9-13, Jr 10-13 & Sport-Lite your up!
Hemmer Motorsports talent pool runs deep from their Pro effort down to their amateur effort. Avery Hemmer the multi disciplined rider has unbelievable talent from snocross to off-road racing, she stunned the crowd once again sweeping the podium in New York, starting 2nd behind super starter Eleanor Schmidt. Hemmer had a big challenge ahead of her battling with #811 all weekend long, while Schmidt had the holehots locked Hemmer had to use an outside the box mindset this would lead #415 to take the lead. We have been hearing Avery will be moving to Pro-Am women next season to challenge the reigning champ Malene Cottew. The #811 of Schmidt would take second both days of racing with great efforts really showing her skills on the massive yet technical track, hands down a great effort for Eleanor & her team Krajicek Racing putting the Arctic Cat & Wings for Life on the box. Friday & Saturday had two different third place finishers, Lila Hemmer cousin to Avery would grab her first podium this season it was all smiles for the Hemmer team. Saturday brought another first podium appearance this time it would be #812 of Bernice Thieke laying it out on the track. This class should be on everyones radar as these young girls excel year to year setting sights to become the next super stars in the Pro-Am Women class. Grab your autographs while you can from these young super stars!
Jr 10-13 Class has only seen two of the same rider’s on the podium Ryder Hayes & Tyson Kielman. Hayes with three podiums two of them are wins the other is taking 3rd in New York. Kielman taking a third in Ironwood & first in Canterbury. We have expected to see Tyson on the podium with a mid pack start and a lot of work to do he only made it up to 7th, Ryan Shimanski is another rider turning heads on his #195 Polaris. #580 of Tommy Roy shot out like a cannon ball hailing from Canada pulled a great start making quick work to get into first eventually taking the overall. Who is this kid? Where has he been the first half of the season? Great job Tommy! Arctic Cat made another podium, Colden Harnois pulled the holeshot leading first couple laps relinquishing the lead to the #580, Holden was still ecstatic getting on the podium, these podiums don’t come easy yet are a great moment for all the hard work these young guns put in. Third place would be taken by Michigans own Ryder Hayes the most consistent rider in this class, heading back to the midwest in two weeks Hayes looks to be back on top at ERX.
Lastly Sport-Lite as everyone knows is the class where teams start recruiting new rider’s entering the pro ranks. Collin Taggart on the Wings for Life Ski-doo was on a tear all weekend long looking more and more comfortable on the Ski-doo platform taking the win, Jimmy Stanisich following in second aboard his Scheuring Speed Sports rocket ship. These two are ones to watch every weekend always putting on awesome battles. As everyone knows Steve Scheuring is out to hire top riders, Jimmy is a perfect example. Third will be taken by the #722 Tavin Knudson, Saturday didn’t look to be the same, not being on the podium at all is weird knowing Tavin is always on the podium. Skogquist Race Team(SRT) is one of the top power house teams in the pits especially with Elias Ishoel help mentor and guide Wyatt, AJ & the Freelands. Aj proved to be a reckoned with Sunday taking a commanding lead grabbing first, Collin Taggart & Jimmy Stanisich rounding the podium out!
Rounds 9 & 10 will lead us back to the midwest, a lot of racers call home. ERX Motorpark layout will be a great one going around the pond, we look forward to a great weekend with packed stands, mullets and two smoke filling the air!!

Round 7 & 8 Valcourt, QC Canada
Our friends north across the border invited ISOC back to Valcourt for a second year in a row. Pits filled with Ice Oval mods, Snocross sleds, Quads & Dirtbikes was a different experience air filled with 440 mods, factory pipes and rev limiters with open pipes. Nothing compares to this weekend being a Pro only event with SCMX intertwined Friday & Saturday schedule of events. Time to get into the nitty gritty!!
Friday was practice with some heat races and finals for the SCMX Snocross series. Emeric Legendre a familiar face to the snocross scene riding for Blouin Racing, Thene Motorsports then to Hilmerson Motorsports his last season chasing the ISOC tour. Emeric came out swinging in the Pro Class taking the overall showing he still has the speed to compete after taking a step back from being a full time athlete. Saturday & Sundays regular scheduled program Emeric jumped into ISOC Pro-Lite class, putting a well respected 13th place Saturday, unfortunately not making the main Sunday from the LCQ. Pro-Lite is very exciting this season, lots of points being moved around two different points leaders. Reigning champ Craydon Dillon came into the weekend feeling under the weather and not holding the red plate with 1 point from second. Scheuring Speed Sport’s Anson Scheele had a target on his back holding the red plate for the first time. A massive demanding track, biggest track we have seen on the tour so far, anything could happen. “Perfect” would be the word we would use for all the riders. Saturdays final was an exciting night Dillon did just that winning one heat taking third in his second heat setting up the best case scenario for himself. Pulling the hole shot leading wire to wire lighting the candles snagging the red plate from Scheele. Rounding out Pro-Lite podium would be Skogquist Race Team Drew Freeland securing second with in toe Scheele in third. A curveball was thrown Sunday for the two top contenders #96 & #44. Hemmer Motorsports Tyler Archambault was on a mission in his heats going 2-3 making another podium appearance again after his big win Deadwood. Back to the drama for the leaders, Dillon had to qualify through the LCQ which was not the case for him, after getting DQ’d he was sidelined from the final watching as the red plate gets taken back from Scheele, back to that word we used earlier “perfect” that’s all Scheele had to do, yet his sled didn’t want to play nice. Everyone knows those Scheuring sleds are top notch no wrong could be done, oh we thought. Opening lap #44 sled went down on a cylinder throwing that alluded curve ball. Anson would finish 14th maximizing his points as much as possible, gaining points over Dillon still holding the red plate. Adam Ashline took third place, that’s another podium for the Elite Motosports team in 2025. Talk about nail biter weekend in Pro-Lite.
Pro class wasn’t as crazy but riders still wanted to prove themselves to the Canadian crowed, capitalizing on points before heading to the Empire State marking the half way point. Judnick Motorsports Emil Harr did what “Moose” does best dropped the hammer and dominated the night taking gold repeating on Sunday taking all three wins and the overall with max points extending the points gap also taking the points lead from Elias Ishoel who sustained a thumb injury at his teams test track. We hope we see him back on the sled at New York. Talking with the #200 sounds like two weeks isn’t enough time to heal with pins in his hand, we are hopeful though.
Kyllo Racing Arctic Cat’s Jake Yurk put on a clinic while showing Arctic cat is still capable on a big demanding track #bleedgreen great momentum for the team taking second overall in the triple crown format. Sunday wasn’t so nice to Yurk, not the best hole shots, getting tangled with Kamm in triple crown #2 getting close to making a move on third. These two don’t have a friendship now if there was one before the weekend. #727 finished 10th not the way they wanted to finish the weekend with all that said its time to reset and get ready for the weekend where he made history for Arctic Cat getting back to back second’s in New York. Welcome back Francis Pelletier also welcome back to the podium in thirda, a nagging injury sidelining him from competition at the opening weekend of Snocross in Ironwood. This weekend we are happy to see the #220 back on the track, the fans seemed very thrilled to see #200 back, we looking forward to seeing “Frank” back for the rest of the season. Warnert Racing young gun Jordan Lebel turned it on taking two of the three triple crown wins placing him in second overall behind Harr, the crowd lit up when Jordan took those two wins. KC Motorsport’s Oskar Norum is no stranger to the podium taking third Sunday great momentum for the team & Norum.
Pro-women class we saw past champion Megan Brodeur on the podium but for a different reason this time, awarding Malene Cottew the “Megan Brodeur Trophy”, a trophy that will be handed out every year at Valcourt to the overall Pro-women winner. Cottew had a perfect weekend dominating each night taking gold a repeat of last year. Second & third would see no change from Saturday to Sunday, Inanna Hauger would take second, the injured Cerissa Blessum taking third.
Being the USSR Pro Star weekend we will shed some light on these guys too. Pro Champ 440 is being led by Blaine Stephenson on the Wahl Brothers Racing Polaris, having a great weekend winning Saturday putting more points over second with over 100 point gap, still lots of racing to go but Blaine is looking to clinch the championship early. Gunnar Sterne a fan favorite held off Blaine but couldn’t make the win stick Saturday. Sunday was a little of a shake up for the covenant Valcourt Championship, which is a one off separate championship to win the #102 sled blew a belt in the second heat giving the win to Reed Klinger, lining up Stephenson had to get out front early making some changes to better his chances in the final, coming up through the pack #102 had lots of work to do to capture the win, working his way up to second Gunnar ran away early taking the championship.
We want to give a huge shoutout to West Coast Customs Pro-Lite rider Brandon Nelson, hoping for a speedy recovery after hearing it was a femur break. Such a pleasure seeing you put on a clinic since moving up to the Pro-Lite ranks.
Another applaud to Snocross & Valcourt for putting on a great event. Intense racing, huge track & amazing venue. See you guys in 2026!

Round 5 & 6 Deadwood, SD
Round 5 & 6 lead the tour to Historic Deadwood. A stop on the tour everyone looks forward to, the atmosphere is second to none. The bullring bring exciting racing and a who knows what’s going to happen mindset. When leaving this weekend you could have made it out great or scratching your head saying what just happened. That’s exactly what happened, ISOC threw some curve balls to all the riders and teams. Big aired out triples(which are sweet) gnarly rhythm sections and let's not forget the right hand corners with an angled start. Let’s get into it now. Three classes on the chopping block! JR 14-15, Sport & 120 Champ classes!
No stranger to the podium Tavin Knudson takes another commanding lead on the weekend making his job easier to get out front winning each of his heats taking the checkers in both finals extending his points lead making one step closer to the championship. There was battle for second and third each day. Cody Moras is a force to be reckoned with on his Polaris back by Team LaVallee putting in work in his heats and securing the second step on the podium Friday. Saturday had a different story where Cody finished 5th overall.
Gavin Brault put on a charge rounding out the podium Friday, a good showing for the Arctic Cat brand in the youth classes! Saturday saw a different 3rd place finisher. #7 Easton Kuhn worked his way up to second from a 7th overall on Friday this kid is on a mission this season. Carter VanHorsigh was back on the podium after taking the win Saturday in Canterbury, yet still has a good position in points sitting second, 26 points between him and Tavin.
Friday’s sport class saw a lot of mix ups, the track definitely put these young phenoms to the test. Dylan Lebel looked like he would sweep the weekend after putting on a dominate final taking the overall, second and third would be taken by Zak Farmer and Joni Komulainen a first podium finish for Joni. Saturday Dylan did all he could until a charging Zak Farmer came out of nowhere pulling a gnarly holeshot leading wire to wire to the overall Saturday putting Dylan in the second spot, third place would be Parker Krumm’s a new face to the podium this season.
The only mod class left in snocross, 120 champ class always brings excitement to each venue. 4 stroke sleds with dad’s that have deep pockets and maybe a hauler too(yes we went there lol). Deegan Giguere started the race of pulling a massive holeshot putting a gap on second place till an unfortunate mechanical issue happened putting Kody Krantz in the lead running away with the lead crossing the checkers to light the candles. second place would go to Lincoln Skar followed by Henry Dillon to finish out the podium. These kids are warriors putting everything they have on the track even the track they we had in Deadwood.
Next stop is Ski-Doo country for the one and only Pro only race on the tour leaving the other classes sometime to get practice in or rest from the brutal Deadwood track. Valcourt lets see what you have to offer!
ROUND 3 & 4 Shakopee, MN
Canterbury Park the second stop to the AMSOIL Championship Snocross National Tour greeted the riders and teams with a challenging, technical, unique track. This venue always brings one of the largest crowds in Snocross. Lets get into the racing!
Pro class had a few big talking points going in. The return of Daniel Bonham but not on an Arctic Cat mind you. He signed with Cottew Motorsports going into Canterbury only a few days before, he did only have a few days on the sled to figure things out. Ultimately Dan didn't seem to comfy on the Polaris platform (just yet). Cottew has a lot of homework to do before the tour heads to history Deadwood, SD.
Friday had a new winner Warnert Racing Jordan Lebel captured his first win of 2025. Team LaVallee’s Adam Peterson & Kyle Racing’s Jake Yurk rounding out the podium with 2024 Champion Emil Hart & 5x time champ outside the podium finishing 4th & 5th overall. Saturday was a different story, Elias & Emil turned up the heat going 1 & 2 on the podium with Judnick motorsports Kody Kamm rounding the podium.
Pro-Lite class had a new face challenging reigning champ Crayden Dillon. Emil Mikalsen took the hole shot leading three quarter of the race, until Crayden put on a charge to take over the lead and sweeping the weekend.
Pro Plus Am 30 is most definitely the class to watch again just like 2024. Brian Petersen holds a one point gap over Andy Lieder's, Brian seems to have found a lot of speed to challenge Andy. Can’t wait to see how Deadwood unfolds for these guys.
To cap off the weekend Wings for Life booth sold out of the Morgan vs Frank special edition t-shirt’s to help find a cure for spinal cord injury! If you want to support the cause visit
